An Ode To Elegance: Alice And Sam’s Rustic Wedding

Autumn and winter are when rustic weddings truly come to life. Let’s face it – the moody, yet incredibly romantic atmosphere creates the perfect scenery for them, not to mention the countless scenic photography spots. Naturally, it’s really easy to fall in love with this vibe – Alice and Sam being the ultimate example. They hosted a gorgeous rustic wedding in the most inviting setting, and did something quite unexpected for their photos!

Rustic Elegance

While the getting-ready rooms were working full-force, I took the time to capture all the details that made this rustic wedding so special. Alice and Sam chose an elegant wedding location, meaning they already had the perfect scenery. Still, they showed off their creativity with the seating placeholders and floral arrangements, making the entire space simply perfect.

Before the ceremony began, I absolutely had to capture Alice’s wedding dress in detail. She wore an absolutely stunning piece with an eye-catching open back, adding a touch of feminine allure. The bridal helped adding the finishing details, and Alice looked as radiant as ever.

The ceremony opened with the delicate sounds of the harp, adding onto the rustic glamour of this elegant wedding location. It was hard for Alice and Sam to keep the waterworks at bay as they were officially getting married. Of course, they pulled through and crowned their love, which was followed by a roar of cheers from everyone they loved!

A Sword? At A Wedding?

If we’re talking about weddings that happened in the olden days, swords wouldn’t seem too odd, right? Yet, Alice and Sam had the most creative idea – to cut the cake with a sword!

Naturally, you can imagine how exciting this is! Alice couldn’t stop smiling through the entire experience, but that simply wasn’t enough. Instead, she wanted to take a step further and truly make their rustic wedding special.

After the cake-cutting, we stepped outside to capture Alice and Sam’s couple’s portraits, and the bride couldn’t stop swinging her sword. All this excitement and creativity made up for some truly unique wedding photos. This is why I always say it’s always worth it to step out of your comfort zone and go for the unexpected.

Vibrant Reception

After capturing their amazing portraits, it was time for the final part of the rustic wedding – the ever-buzzing reception. The lights went down, with three spotlights shining down on the beautiful couple as they started swaying to their favourite song.

It didn’t take long for their loved ones to join them on the dance-floor, creating the most romantic atmosphere. Still, we were far from the end – Alice and Sam had one last surprise for everyone. As the celebration was coming to an end, the couple bid their adieu with a spectacular fireworks show, marking the beautiful end of this rustic wedding.

Alice and Sam hosted a rustic wedding that was the definition of elegance and uniqueness. Although the sword was the absolute highlight, there wasn’t a dull moment at this magnificent celebration of love!
