I'm a wedding photographer and videographer and I love capturing weddings all around the world.
An autumn countryside wedding at Gaynes Park offers romance, beauty, and timeless elegance — and Cally and Lee’s celebration at Gaynes Park was no exception. Every detail of their day reflected their deep love story, combining thoughtful touches with stunning seasonal charm.
Photography at a countryside wedding always begins with capturing those intimate “getting ready” moments. At Gaynes Park, Cally and Lee prepared for their day surrounded by family and friends.
Cally enjoyed lighthearted moments with her bridesmaids and their daughter while opening thoughtful presents, and Lee had a great time with his groomsmen and their son — who wore stylish beige suits that matched the wedding’s seasonal elegance.
Cally’s gown was a stunning blend of tradition and modern elegance, making her glow as she walked down the aisle. One of the most touching moments of this countryside wedding was when her son walked her to meet Lee — a scene filled with emotion and love.
Gaynes Park offers a picture-perfect setting for an autumn countryside wedding, with cosy golden light and rustic charm. During pre-reception moments, we captured couple portraits that reflected the beauty of the season. Bridesmaids in deep green gowns added a perfect touch of harmony to Cally’s bridal style, enhancing the seasonal theme.
We also took some time to take some group photos. The green gowns the bridesmaids wore blended in perfectly with the autumn theme. They were just the perfect addition to Cally’s wedding dress design. And, of course, there were the inevitable family portraits, which I very much enjoyed taking.

What struck a note and made the autumn wedding even more emotional was the way Cally and Lee honoured their loved ones who were no longer among us. Cally had small photos of loved ones attached to her bridal bouquet, honouring them and making them part of the ceremony.
Once the guests entered the reception hall, they found a whole table filled with photos of loved ones that Cally and Lee had lost. This was another way for them to honour the deceased who was with them in spirit.
Moving on to the reception, I have to say it was a blast. All the guests had fun, laughing and sharing a tear of joy together with the couple. Cally and Lee danced with their sons and guests, and for those whose heels were too much, the bride and groom provided slippers. You can understand why this countryside wedding went on till the early morning hours! With great food, good company, excellent entertainers and a glass of wine, guests celebrated Cally and Lee’s love.
The countryside wedding ended with everyone sending the newlywed couple off into their new life by lining up and holding sparkles to light up their path. It was a very thoughtful and fun way to send them off.
