IIt was a windy and rainy day on the Kent coast, but nothing could dampen the joy of Brad and Nicola’s UK beach hut wedding. Their intimate celebration at Beach Hut Weddings was filled with love, laughter, and seaside charm.

The Charm of a Beach Hut Wedding

When you think of a beach wedding in the UK, unpredictable weather may come to mind. Yet, this charming seaside venue in Kent proves that with the right setting, even stormy skies can create magic.

The sound of waves, the cry of seagulls, and the salty sea air provided the perfect backdrop for Brad and Nicola’s intimate coastal wedding.

As I made my way to the beach hut, I was struck by the picturesque setting. With the ocean stretched out into the horizon, the waves crashing against the shore, the sound of seagulls, and the salty air- it provided a perfect backdrop for the day’s festivities. 

Getting Ready in Kent

At the hotel Brad was getting ready with his groomsmen, the most important groomsman of all being his and Nicola’s son. Seeing them getting prepared together for this big day was a precious moment to capture. 

Meanwhile, in Nicola’s room, the bridal party buzzed around to ensure that everything was as perfect as can be. Though the nerves were starting to settle in, Nicola looked simply stunning in her Wed2B dress.

A Seaside Ceremony at Beach Hut Weddings

Despite the rain and wind, their Kent beach wedding ceremony was filled with emotion. As they exchanged vows in the charming beach hut, every guest was moved by their love.

Reception Fun by the Sea

Following the ceremony, Brad and Nicola celebrated with unique seaside touches. A carousel ride brought joy and laughter, while candid portraits captured their carefree spirit.

Guests enjoyed traditional fish and chips — the perfect meal for a seaside wedding in Kent. Later, Brad surprised everyone with a heartfelt first dance song he wrote himself, bringing Nicola to tears.
