I'm a wedding photographer and videographer and I love capturing weddings all around the world.
Not every couple dreams of a grand wedding with all the pomp and ceremony. Many prefer a simpler, more heartfelt approach. Tara and Chadi embraced this vision with their Bordeaux destination wedding . Their love story began in an unexpected place — seated side-by-side at a roast dinner organised by friends in Chelsea. Chadi, the only man at the table, struck up conversation with Tara, and instantly they discovered how perfectly their energies matched.
Fast forward to their dreamy destination wedding, held at the historic Château Pape Clément in Bordeaux, France. This beautiful city, famed for fine wine and cuisine, was perfect for the couple’s vision. Its proximity to England meant friends and family could join without fuss.
Tara wore a beautiful off-the-shoulder white wedding gown with voluminous sleeves and a train cascading at the back. As for Chadi, he got dressed in a crisp black suit and looked very suave.
To kick things off, we had a photo session indoors with all the bridal party which was a fun experience and afterwards, it was time for the ceremony. I absolutely adored the black and white them of the wedding. All the bridesmaids and flower girls wore white while the groomsmen wore black tuxedos. Tara walked down the aisle with her father and had a big smile on her face. The couple exchanged their vows and the first kiss, surrounded by nature, which served as the best backdrop for photos.
After the ceremony, we had the couple session which is always one of my favourite parts of a wedding. We shot them both indoors and outdoors and I personally fell in love with the ones we took inside the winery.
The reception took place indoors and was a sight to see. The decor was as lavish as the venue and took everyone’s breath away. It started off with some speeches which had everyone laughing tears of joy. Afterwards, it was time to cut the wedding cake. I was quite surprised to see a Croquembouche instead of a traditional cake, but I believe that little touch spoke volumes about the couple and the type of relationship they had.
The night ended with Tara and Chadi sharing their first dance. The lights dimmed, the music slowed down and for a moment, it was like it was just the two of them in the room. Later, everyone joined the couple on the floor and danced the night away.
